Partition Assistant Helps Resize NTFS Partition Freely and Safely

By using Partition Assistant, you never need to care about the files passing away. You only require to read the prompt and get your mouse to operate based on them.

In the following, we explain to you tips on how to extend system partition, that is, C partition. Procedures are listed as follows:

1. Downloading the Partition Assistant Home Edition (Free Edition) and handle the installation.

2. After that, it will present you the following view (C:, D: and unallocated space); it is your disk condition just lately (We take this for example).

3. Click on C partition, here you notice below at the "Move and Resize" line that C partition won't be permitted to expand as a result of not any free space. For that reason, how to do?

4. See the following view: we have to put the unallocated space next to the C partition in case that we wish to expand from it. Therefore, firstly, move the partition D. Click on the D partition cause it to remain in the "Move and Resize" line, after your mouse becoming a squared-cross, keep clicking the right side of mouse and drag to the right.

5. When finished the upper procedure, you will realize this D: partition was moved to here as well as the unallocated space is close by the C partition.

6. At this moment, it is time to extend C partition: Click C partition to make it stay in the "Move and Resize" column, get your mouse in the right side and turn into a double arrow, after that, drive to the right. When you drag it, you might see the volume showed in the left side of C partition; drag it in accordance with your aim capacity.

7. When finished the upper procedure, you will see this C: partition was extended and there are two pending operations (Move D and Resize C).

In the end, all of your operations to resize NTFS partition should be run after click "Apply" in the top tool bar. Never forget clicking "Apply" to achieve your aim.
