Do You Need To Know About English Grammar Checker?

Let's face it, English grammar is quirky and in a good way; this quirkiness endows the English language with flexibility and allows for creative expression and usage.

Grammar is basically a set of structural and logical rules that govern the composition of speech and lends structure to language. It makes speech coherent, without it, all statements are basically jumbled words. Audience is familiar with the rules of grammar and it is the assumption on which people communicate.

Most of us handle English grammar with gut instincts, 'if it sounds right, it probably is', this very approach, although effective, make pedants scoff. Even those whose franca lingua is English make grammatical mistakes and are often puzzled by the nuances of English grammar and quirks, it shouldn't come as a suprise.

Most of us would prefer if there were some software or tool to correct our grammatical errors for us; spell-check software is mightily helpful but what if there were some sort of English grammar checker that pointed out and corrected our grammatical errors.

The problem is that codifying grammatical rules is quite difficult, but advances in the field of natural language processing has produced grammar checking software that, although not 100% accurate, are helpful nevertheless. Those that have used word processors are probably familiar with the green wriggly lines that suggest grammatical errors, sometimes they are correct and oftentimes not.

These days Online grammar checking software is ubiquitous on the internet these days, than those that came with your word-processor these are more effective. A large number of websites offer such services, you just copy-paste your text in the interface provided and instantly you get the errors and relevant suggestions served to you. These web based services are vastly more effective because they use advanced algorithms, have more computing power at their disposal and are regularly fine tuned for optimal results.

Do note that although nothing compares to a human, grammar checking software has evolved to the point where it is always a good idea to run your text through one, just to be on the safe side. Don't forget to proofread your material using checking software the next time you are writing an essay, a article or a college application.
